For the template I chose I just chose the one that we did in class, I did not want to change it in class and be lost so I just went with it, also since our professor was doing the same template as well, it just seemed dumb to try and change it and get confused. On my home page, I shared about what they were getting into and what they were about to read. I established context by telling what intermittent fasting was, and how it could benefit them if they read my page and go on and read the rest of my website and my personal experience. I did not mention myself or any pictures of myself because I did not think it was necessary, the website is about a website not about myself. I do not have an about me moment at all, as I said before, maybe if I was going to do a job shadow immersion experience or something along those lines I probably would, but since it was just about a diet, I chose to leave myself out of it. My audience would be anyone who wants to try a diet and lose weight, people who would read this would be people who care about their weight, or with health problems. Hyperlinks I used were for Doctors that had experiences and data on the diet, and also youtube videos that explained the diet as well. I even had a hyperlink that went to the documentary IMBD page. I included images of food and a scale since we were talking about a diet, as well as pictures of a plate that looks like a clock, that represents fasting. I had to pull out quotes every three to four paragraphs so the people who would read it wouldn’t just be looking at a blank page, and make sure it looked good for them. Pull out quotes were either from myself or from the physicians that talked about the diet, to make sure they meant something and were credible.
